UMI P/N 4023OFCM features off-set aluminum bushings and smaller diameter tubing that place the control arm inward for additional clearance when running large tires. This type of set-up is also needed when running a mini-tub to achieve the most clearance as possible. The supplied aluminum step bushings place the control arm inward 3/8 of an inch further then our standard control arm version. These double adjustable control arms are designed for race applications and light duty street use. The spherical rod ends offer a solid foundation and work excellent as a solid bushing control arm while eliminating rear suspension bind. The double adjustment allows easy on car changes for wider tire clearance and to center aftermarket rear ends. These race application control arms are manufactured from 4130 chromoly steel and TIG welded for the utmost in strength. The premium Teflon lined rod ends attach to the control arms using in-house machined 4130 chromoly tube adaptors. UMI P/N 4023OFCM allows adjustments of 1” longer or 1” shorter and are supplied pre-set to factory length. These race style control arms are designed for aftermarket sway bars that do not attach to the control arms; control arms are supplied with no sway bar holes.
