Ridetech’s performance subframe is coming soon for the first gen Camaro and Firebird platform. A fresh approach was taken when it comes to features that builders and customers often look for and Ridetech has delivered. Upgraded rack and pinion steering transforms the driver experience, and our design accommodates both coil-over or air suspension. Improved suspension geometry improves performance all around. Fox Factory monotube shocks can be had in single, rebound adjustable (HQ) or triple adjustable(TQ) iterations, keeping your front tires glued to the ground whether you’re on the street or the track.
- Lowers stance 1″-3″ and maintains factory track width while increasing wheel and tire clearance.
- Two inches more tire clearance per side than stock subframe
- Fits up to 6.5” BS without modifications or reduction in turning radius
- Included adjustable transmission crossmember
- Compatible with coil-overs or ShockWaves™ (sold separately)
- Available with AFX Pin or late model Hub spindle design
- Hub spindle allows install of modern C5/C6 Corvette brakes & C5/C6/C7 hubs (hubs not included)
- Pin spindle is compatible with stock style brakes (including aftermarket kits that fit stock spindle)
- One piece billet 6061-T6 aluminum upper control arms and steering arms add superior strength
- Tubular lower control arms include eccentric adjustment for caster & camber adjustments
- Alignment adjustments are made complete under the car | No longer need to make adjustments inside engine bay
- Multiple motor mount options | SB Chevy, BB Chevy, GM LS, Gen V Direct Injection variants
- Improved header clearance and exhaust routing allow for a variety exhaust solutions
- Rack & Pinion steering upgrade provides improved steering feel, enhancing driver feedback.
